Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Generalist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks within the warehouse, including order fulfillment, inventory management, shipping and receiving, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. A valid forklift license is preferred for this role, as operating forklifts may be required for certain duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments of goods and materials.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Capable of navigating around computer systems
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products within the warehouse.
  • Assist in inventory control, including cycle counting, stock rotation, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensure that all goods are stored in an organized, safe, and accessible manner.
  • Prepare and label shipping documents, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform regular warehouse inspections and assist with routine maintenance tasks.
  • Assist with unloading and loading trucks, ensuring proper handling and storage of materials.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
  • Cleaning, organizing and general upkeep of the warehouse facility
  • Adhere to company safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including keeping workstations and common areas organized.
  • Physically mobile
  • Assist with any other duties as needed to support warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution center setting is preferred.
  • Valid forklift license (preferred).
  • Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items (up to 15kg or more).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills (experience with warehouse management systems is a plus).
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.

Work Environment:

  • This position may involve working in various warehouse environments, including exposure to noise, temperature changes, and heavy equipment.
  • Safety gear (such as steel-toe boots, gloves, and reflective vests) is required.
