Responsibilities:

  • Unload inbound freight accurately and safely in accordance with the goods in schedule ensuring that containers and trailers are released on time
  • Check inbound freight to ensure the quantity and quality of goods received is to expectation
  • Labelling and storing inbound goods in a timely manner, accurately storing within the WMS system
  • Booking in goods within the same day ensuring stock is available so that we may fulfil our customer orders
  • Placing stock in the right location in readiness for goods out processes using appropriate manual handling equipment to complete the process
  • Identifying and recording of any damaged stock
  • Returns are processed correctly with the customer in mind.
  • Running of the replenishment cycle for on demand and manual replenishment
  • Picking items with a high level of accuracy and itemising accurately in preparation for transport.
  • Ensuring dispatches are correctly labelled and loaded to the relevant carrier, the best carrier is used both for commercials and customer service
  • Take responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others ensuing that correct processes are followed
