HRGO are currently seeking a motivated and detail-orientated Picker and Packer to support a warehouse operation on behalf of a well-known logistics company in Paddock Wood.
Job Description:
As a Picker and Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that products reach customers in perfect condition and on time. Your responsibilities will include selecting and packing items for shipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and upholding the company’s commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick products according to order specifications.
• Pack products safely and efficiently to ensure they arrive in excellent condition.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness in the warehouse.
• Assist with receiving and stocking inventory.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and notify supervisors of discrepancies.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily/weekly performance targets.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.

Hours of work are 8am to 6pm and 12noon to 10pm - Candidates must be able to work both shifts, some weekend working will also be required. Any hours worked over 45 hours per week will be paid at time and a half.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in order picking and packing within a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for accuracy.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic math skills for inventory counts and adjustments.
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items and stand for long periods.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and technology.
