Preppers Shop UK is rapidly becoming the industry leader in the outdoor & military surplus market. We are looking for someone to join our growing warehouse team.
We specialise in the outdoor markets covering military surplus, expedition & trekking, bushcraft & tactical. As a predominantly online business we ship hundreds of orders per day.
We are looking for someone to join our warehouse team for picking and packing e-ccomerce orders. We are not a robotic led warehouse, we need a team member that can think and make vital decisions on there own. Teamwork is essential as you will be wokring alongside a close knit wider team.

The role includes:

• Picking e-ccomerce orders to prepare for dispatch
• Packing online orders using our systems to identify the best courier option
• Booking goods in and checking pick sheets
• Picking inventory to feed our retail store
• Maintaining the warehouse to a safe manner
• Ensure goods are stored in a deliberate and efficient manner
• Receiving military pallets, grading, sorting and sizing surplus clothing

Desirable skills would be:

• Experience in a similar role
• Self starter, we work at a rapid pace so you need to be self motivated
• Strong, although most orders are small packages the role does include heavy lifting
• Knowledge of outdoor products would be a huge bonus
• Computer skills, we work on digital dispatch software so you will need to be fluent with computers
• Ability to work in a busy environment in a safe manner

You will be joining part of our wider Preppers shop team so the ability to be a team player and get involved in all aspect of the role is important. We are a close knit team who love what we do and are looking for someone with the right personality to bring there own energy to the position.
