QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Two (2) to four (4) years’ experience in a hospitality environment with a minimum of two (2) years’ working in a purchasing/receiving position
- Must understand quality standards and be able to enforce them with suppliers and delivery personnel
- Oral and written communication skills for use with vendors, departments, and management
- Timeliness and accuracy in performing assigned duties and responsibilities
- Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of BirchStreet is an asset.
CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES REQUIREMENTS
- Valid GPEB license
- Serving it Right Certification
- Food Safe Level 1 Certification
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Able to lift, handle, and transport materials that are over 20lbs
- Required to sit, stand and walk during working hours
- Must be able to maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude
- Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds of inventory/delivered items
- May be required to crouch, kneel down, bend, reach when completing daily tasks and required to move around the loading dock/warehouse areas

Responsibilities:
- Receive deliveries, check for accuracy, and stores products as required
- Monitor inventory levels and reconcile physical inventories with records
- Generate and/or review inventory reports
- Match purchase requisitions with invoices and forward to accounts for payment processing
- Inspection and quality control of delivered shipments at warehouse
- Data entry and basic follow up with vendors to expedite current orders or coordinating deliveries
- Produce requested reports and order summary for the Finance department as requested
- Performs all other job-related duties as requested
