Warehouse Receiving Specialist

Job purpose:
Comec is looking to add to our growing warehouse staff. We are looking for individuals that can work with our client in their warehouse on site. The position would be working hand in hand with the client daily, as well as working with them on other warehousing duties as needed. We are looking for a highly skilled Warehouse Receiving Specialist with experience with shipping and receiving and an attention to detail.
The position is a 7 on and 7 off shifts. Camp work, 80 hours per shift. OT eligible with approval.

Key deliverables:

• SAP knowledge
• Warehousing or procurement background
• Forklift experience.
• Experience in receiving materials for Oil and Gas producers.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Receiving material. Triple verification experience. Date entry into warehousing programs.
• Material storage and procurement.
• Work front desk counter as needed.
• Daily issue of material to trade craft as needed.
• Material tracking and data entry as required.
• Order picking and staging.
• Inventory management.

Qualifications:

• The client uses SAP on site. experience is an asset
• Warehousing or procurement back ground.
• Understanding of QC receiving processes.
• Driver’s license. (mandatory)
• Fort lift experience (ticket mandatory before access to site)
• Any specific training in regards warehousing or SAP are an asset.

• H2S Alive, 1st Aid, TDG, WHMIS mandatory

• Fork lift/bobcat/zoom boom tickets
• Any client specific required courses
• Other courses as deemed necessary

Working conditions:

• Able and willing to work long hours
• Able to repeatedly lift and load supplies and equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in northern Alberta weather conditions if required.

Physical requirements:

Applicant should be able to work long hours at a computer if needed. Able to load and unload material up to 50lbs, work in all weather conditions,

• Ability to regularly handle and lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to pass a medical fit for work exam
• Ability to pass a pre-access Drug & Alcohol test
