EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • Understanding of company policies and procedures.
  • Experience operating an RDT.
  • Knowledge of GDP and Health and Safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products.
  • Preferred NVQ Level or equivalent.
  • Completion of relevant SOP training within 3 months.

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE:

To assist in managing all aspects of the operation in order that efficiency and people management is maximised and that the best results are achieved to meet the requirements of Alloga UK, its Clients and Governing Bodies. Also to deputise for a Supervisor during times of absence.

KEY TASKS

  • To ensure that operatives only use the correct equipment that they have been trained to use.
  • To report any damage or defect of on-site equipment or property to the relevant responsible person.
  • To ensure that all doors are always secured ensuring no un-authorised entry to site by challenging any personnel not displaying a valid identity pass.
  • To monitor staff appearance to ensure that the company uniform is worn and in clean and presentable condition together with wearing and displaying a valid identity pass.
  • To ensure that all operations are in line with MHRA and GDP standards including maintaining excellent standards of housekeeping.
  • To ensure that cold-chain disciplines are always adhered to.
  • To ensure that all staff are sufficiently trained to maximize their efficiency and that their training SOP’s are completed and are recorded on the Training database.
  • To encourage continuous improvement in all areas of operations.
  • To ensure that errors identified are recorded and fed back to individuals with corrective action taken if required.
  • To communicate effectively with the operations team and other departments.
  • To lead team members and to encourage them to the work to the best of their ability.
  • To deliver regular briefings to all staff members.
  • To carry out any reasonable duties as required by the Management team.
  • To monitor and alter resources to ensure that all targets are met.
  • The ability to complete random process audits as and when required.
  • To complete any order changed consignment concerns.
  • To deliver KPIs both business and department.
  • Adhere to 5S procedures.
  • To ensure that all direct reports adhere to Company Health & Safety Policies/ standards at all times
  • To ensure that all accidents and near misses are reported immediately to the HS&E Manager
  • To ensure that all department activity is performed in accordance with company procedures
