Description:
DESCRIPTION
Reporting directly to the Shift Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and organising the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse materials and products to feed business operations and customer demands.

Responsibilities:
General Task Management
- Ensure all goods receipts are dealt with in an efficient, timely and accurate manor.
- Oversee the activities of stock control including stock receipts, replenishment, cycle counting and order picking.
- Ensure all orders are processed efficiently and within set customer timelines to the set quality standards.
- In conjunction with the shift manager continually review ways to aid efficiency, add value and reduce costs as well as supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Help create and implement best warehouse practice policies and procedures.
- Monitor and maintain security standards within the warehouse
- Ensure that all daily Machinery safety checks are carried out and logged.
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment to aid operational efficiency
- Ensure all staff comply with company health and safety and environmental policies
People Management
- Manage Manpower resources effectively
- Monitor absence control procedures to ensure maximum attendance levels
- Manage time and attendance
- Motivate and coach the team for operational success
- Monitor staff performance and ensure set targets are met
- Provide support to the shift manager
