Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 2 Warehouse Service Support Team Assistant based at Imperial Park, Newport.
The post holder will be responsible for providing support to Senior Team Members within the Warehouse Service Support Team based at our Regional Warehouse in Newport. Sets of daily tasks are to be undertaken such as; clerical and administrative support, courteous and efficient call handling from stakeholders via telephone or Action Point system. Data input via the Oracle WMS system, downloading data for stock replenishment at hospital and community sites, liaising with warehouse staff, effective stock purchasing, raising orders and discrepancies, liaising with suppliers.
Working pattern will be fixed at 37.5 hours per week. Core hours are 8am - 5pm.
There are two shifts 8am- 4pm and 9am - 5pm. Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the service.
The successful candidate will have experience working in a busy office environment with an understanding Warehouse and Administrative Support within Supply, Logistics and Transport remit. Able to provide an efficient and professional service to meet NWSSP objectives. Be a team player with excellent communication skills, who will be required to adopt a flexible approach to any activities undertaken which will require the exercise of initiative, although also operating within procedural guidelines. Liaison with internal staff at all levels, Stakeholder’s and external suppliers. Have experience of working within a busy office environment and be IT literate.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
