Essential Responsibilities:

  • Motivate team members to achieve plan goals
  • Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist team to solve operational issues
  • Provide timely service to office while minimizing warehouse and production costs
  • Support daily distribution and processing of reports and other correspondence as directed by Manager
  • Maintain and update equipment and product tracking log
  • Manage all electronic receipts of equipment/product when it arrives
  • Manage warehouse functions, including, but not limited to shipping, receiving and inventory control
  • Enter all receiving purchase order information and virtual shipments
  • Maintain accurate inventory and documentation for all assigned inventory
  • Ensure inventory for order prep, pre-fabrication, and staging on project pallets are pulled
  • Coordinate and manage the maintenance of equipment
  • Answer all incoming calls and email queries; assisting customers, clients and related vendors as needed

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to comprehend and apply principles of basic math while analyzing data and generating reports
  • Must have clear and professional communication skills (written and oral) both internally and externally
  • Proficient in windows and Microsoft applications such as MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
  • Effective communication and interaction with employees, clients, and colleagues and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated customer service focus and client communication skills

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate’s Degree or higher preferred
  • Prior education in logistics, supply chain management or business administration preferred
  • Minimum 2 - 4 years of Warehouse or inventory experience
  • Experience with UPS, FedEx shipping, tracking and receiving. International shipping experience is preferred
  • Proven work experience as a warehouse supervisor
  • Must be able to pass and complete internal forklift certification
  • Valid Driver’s License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL Driving Privileges standards

  • Requires sitting, walking, standing, crawling, reaching, and the ability to lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Requires the ability to squat occasionally
  • Requires the ability to use ladders up to 20 feet frequently
  • Requires the ability to operate warehouse machinery
