Description:

JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse staff, ensuring efficient processes, and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to analyze operational data, and a commitment to process improvement.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management is preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and another language is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data for decision-making purposes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, for documentation purposes.
  • Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) as required by warehouse tasks.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies is advantageous.
  • Valid forklift certification is preferred but can be obtained after hiring.

    Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse personnel to ensure efficient operations.
  • Must be able to work in warehouse environment.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Train new employees on warehouse procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
  • Analyze performance metrics and prepare reports for management review.
  • Facilitate communication between departments to ensure smooth workflow and address any issues that arise.
