JOB SUMMARY

The overall purpose of this role will be to supervise and support the Company in maximising efficiency, performance, profitability, compliance and customer satisfaction.
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of the work and maximising productivity of our warehouse staff . As a Supervisor you will oversee the well-being of all staff, storage, service and dispatch of a range of goods in line with the Rico TVSSCS quality compliance, process and company procedures. Responsible for a vital part of the Rico TVSSCS supply chain process, you will be expected to support and supervise people, processes and systems in order to ensure goods are received and dispatched appropriately, and that all set targets are met.
You will also be responsible for the supervision of the workplace health and safety standards and for the security of the building and stock. Be prepared to cover for warehouse operatives at a moment’s notice and be prepared to work some weekends as part of the supervisor’s flexible role and responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• The monitoring of new processes to operationally and financially improve performance by way of making suggestions of improvements.
• Building effective relationships with Management teams and key stakeholders, internal/external customers.
• Effective use of time of others by supporting and supervising key priorities as they arise and arranging cover in those areas.
• Ensuring the supervision for a smooth implementation of new accounts.
• Challenge and develop staff by assessing performance
• Create a democratic working environment to promote Rico TVSSCS values of collaborate, innovate and accelerate.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides strong leadership of team and facilitates a culture of sharing best practices

• Supports the training and development of the staff to ensure they achieve their full potential

  Monitor and supervise all operational service levels to advise and initiate actions were required to hit and achieve targets.

• Implement, drive & develop sustainable Service Improvement Initiatives.

• Ensure staff adhere to all current security procedures.
• Ensure that staff adhere to all statutory and company Health & Safety regulations.
• Assist in the development of talent and build high performing team.
• In accordance with the evolving nature of our business, from time to time, and as directed by management, you may be required to undertake other duties which fall within your capabilities, in the best interests of the business.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and serviced and the cleanliness is managed and maintained.
