Key Requirements:

• Good written & verbal communication skills
• Flexible and enthusiastic individual with ability to use own initiative and take responsibility for work
• Attention to detail and accuracy are essential
• Possess drive and ability to lead operators to maintain efficient operation of cell.
• Strong PC skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Previous experience in managing a team

Wisetek currently has a requirement for a Production Supervisor, responsible for identifying and analysing problems, planning tasks and solutions. The Supervisor will provide guidance to team on development, performance and productivity issues. The individual will be required to report to the Production Manager on team accomplishments, achievements and productivity.
General Responsibilities:

Duties include but not limited to the following (Training may need to be provided for specific tasks)

• Lead a team of operators/drivers to ensure targets for quality/service/costs are achieved
• Co-ordinate and participate in general housekeeping of warehouse and yard area
• Ensure employees are treated correctly in compliance with company procedures
• Taking responsibility for people and production management with an acute awareness of safety and quality
• Ability to interact and deal with our customers’ needs on a daily basis
• Develops work schedules for team by assessing priorities, workload and available resources.
• Develop a strong team culture through communications and team leadership
• Initiate and drive production and quality improvement projects in line with the principles of Lean/Sigma Manufacturing
• Manage department KPI’s and drive improvement of same
• Participate in the recruitment process and manage training requirements in conjunction with HR.
• Develop/Facilitate cost improvement initiatives
• Completion of Employee appraisals and implement company personnel policies
• Ensuring that yours and the teams work is accurate, to the highest quality standard
• Undergo training/certification when required to do so
• Other tasks/relevant duties as required.
• Move within Wisetek Operations
