JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a warehouse associate who can help our company manage all aspects of a warehouse operation. This is an important role that requires you to take charge of everything warehousing related. We are looking for a hard-working, hands-on individual for long-term employment to grow with the company.
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for supporting operations of the Warehouse and Distribution Center in the areas of receiving, stocking, fulfillment, organization of deliveries and shipping. Also accountable for providing guidance and instruction to a small DC team in order to achieve key results and exceed quality and safety standards, while adhering to the organizations values.
The ideal candidate has a combination of leadership skills, product knowledge, industry savvy and prior experience overseeing the daily workflow, and schedules of a warehouse department. This is a hands-on roll requiring a flexible individual who can help lift heavy items, fill in to make a delivery or help install a game table as needed.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Understanding of basic Microsoft Office and other job-related applications
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Previous leadership and supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to stoop, bend, carry and lift 60lbs
- Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment and effectively communicate with team members

Responsibilities:
- Analyze incoming and outgoing orders to determine the most efficient and effective way to organize items for shipment or unload, within the Distribution Center’s Standard Operating Procedure
- Have and maintain a full G driver licence
- Operate forklifts and other equipment, including but not limited to the following: pallet jack, sit-down forklift, 16ft Cube Van, Cargo Van
- Schedule and coordinate service appointments for service teams
- Load and unload products manually by hand and with material handling equipment (pallet truck, forklift)
- Handy person adept with power and hand tools
- Flexibility to help in other rolls whether making a delivery or game table installation or set up a home show booth
- Be prepared to occasionally work offsite on special projects whether at a store location or at a job site
- Operate RF scanners to perform essential warehouse tasks related to inventory management and distribution
- Solid expertise in packaging, shipping methods and freight
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouse
- Contribute to a culture of accountability, reporting, and inspection by communicating delivery or shipment failures, comparing equipment conditions to standards, and acting if other discrepancies arise, and flagging low stock
- Perform various administrative tasks, such as tracking/scheduling of shipment, and providing POD as requested
- Coach, develop, and motivate employees to be safe, efficient and accurate
- Understand and enforce company policies, procedures, and systems within all areas of operation
- Maintain all housekeeping standards set by management and the organization
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and quarterly inventory counts.
- Uphold an appropriate and legal level of confidentiality of information
- Interact with peers and customers in a professional and respectful manner
- Arrive to work on time, with all required safety equipment
- Provide additional support to team members as needed
