Description:

Job Purpose:
Coordinating and leading a team of warehouse personnel, as well as ensuring efficient and effective receiving, handling, storage and dispatch of goods.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To ensure orders are processed and despatched in a timely fashion to provide the best possible service to the customer.
  • Supervise and lead a team of warehouse personnel.
  • To pick and pack orders on a daily basis.
  • Duties involve regular repetitive light, medium and heavy lifting including lifting and carrying weights up to 20kg approx.
  • To maintain high levels of Health and Safety standards throughout all activities.
  • To manage stock levels by participating in stock taking and cycle counting.
  • Ensures that product inspection functions are performed efficiently to meet with Company’s quality standards.
  • Inspects the products and reports the results from products returned and update the RMA Log.
  • To be responsible for receiving and inspection of deliveries and ensuring that safe unloading procedures are followed.
  • To prepare finished goods for packing and dispatch.
  • To process all necessary documentation within the Warehouse and complete all relevant system transactions, i.e. receipt of product.
  • Report damaged packaging to ensure product quality for the customer.
  • Follow up & control daily absence, over time and time keeping.
  • Organize activities and assign jobs accordingly for staff.
  • To work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.
  • To ensure the work area is always kept clean and tidy.
  • To achieve the targets and job standards set out by the warehouse manager.
  • To be adaptable and flexible in approach to work.
  • Any other task nominated by the Warehouse Manager, Management or Directors of the company.
