We are looking for a Distribution Centre Team Leader to support the smooth running of the Distribution Centre and ensure operations are carried out as per business targets and deadliness. This role is on an initial 6-month fixed term contract until May 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Supervisors and Management team with day-to-day activities of the Distribution Centre – ensuring picking, goods in, despatch is complete and stock accuracy is high.
- Be the first point of call for the Operatives and Administrators for any issues, providing resolution.
- Support the Supervisors to train and mentor all staff.
- Identify training opportunities across all functions of the Distribution Centre.
- Ensure all goods are processed through the Distribution Centre on time and in full, including pick tracker and issuing picks as per the process.
- Despatch parts, internal picking, and regular inventory stock counts.
- Ensure performance accuracy is in line with the departments KPI’s.
- Produce any reports required by the department management team.
- Carry out cycle counting for stock accuracy.
- Deal with very high specification and value racing car components.
- Use of forklift trucks will be required, but training will be provided to attain the relevant licence.
- You may be asked to work additional hours on occasion, as necessary.
