Responsibilities:

As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Facilitating the receipt, storage & delivery of stock materials to support business activities.
  • Receiving inbound material from outside suppliers and other Baker Hughes plants and field locations.
  • Preparing shipments/documents to be dispatched to field locations or to customer sites.
  • Updating and monitoring documentation to record transactions and stock inventory levels.
  • Communicating with cross-functional teams to provide information and updates on excess inventory and product levels or availability.
  • Maintaining stores equipment and supporting inventory management

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Technical Diploma or 3 years relevant warehouse/inventory experience.
  • Display the ability to identify and resolve problems and be able to implement effective improvements.
  • Be able to work the evening shift and overtime at weekends/holidays as required.
  • Show the ability to be a team player and work collaboratively.
  • Demonstrate computer skills and be familiar with MS Office.
  • Familiar with inventory transactions with Oracle or any similar ERP system.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
