PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of prior experience in a warehousing or materials handling environment.
  • Ability to organize, set and follow priorities for self and team and to make decisions aimed at accomplishing the work objectives and tasks is required.
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner and including being fluent in English (verbal and written) is required.
  • Ability to communicate difficult, technical, or contentious information in a straightforward and respectful manner is required.
  • Ability to provide clear, understandable, and respectful guidance and direction to staff, including on-the-job training in securing loads and safe work habits, and be attentive to details of work completed by self and staff is required.
  • Ability to motivate staff through work direction, guidance, and mentorship is required.
  • Ability to follow directions and operational procedures, including following safety protocols is required.
  • Ability to work independently and be an effective team player who contributes positively to the end goals of the team and maintains excellent interpersonal skills is required.
  • Ability to problem-solve, specifically to solve spatial configurations is required.
  • Ability to operate all necessary computers, equipment and/or machinery to perform job-related task(s) is required.
  • Basic MS Office proficiency (i.e. MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including working knowledge of basic math operations is required.
  • Ability to perform basic quality inspections is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail is required.
  • Ability to deal with multiple demands simultaneously is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating, managing and expediting the flow of product through the warehouse work areas to ensure timely preparation for shipping.
  • Ensuring material and finished products shipped are properly packaged, labeled and secured for handling and shipping.
  • Inspecting all shipping documentation and labels to ensure the accuracy of the information prior to shipping.
  • Ensuring materials and finished products are properly prepared for shipment and/or stored for easy identification and retrieval on the day of shipping.
  • Ensuring proper loading techniques are used and overseeing the secure and accurate loading of deliveries.
  • Auditing and reviewing shipping documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate relative to the physical load on the truck.
  • Loading and unloading trailers
  • Coordinating with local 3rd party staff to be available to unload trailers with service parts or finished good; marking and tagging all service product
  • Coordinating with 3rd party staff to pick up product and assisting with loading up the trailer
  • Scheduling and directs internal driver and swamper and communicates delivery requirements and/or special instructions to them.
  • Ensure all Transfer Orders are received, and product is Shipped/Closed for inventory accuracy, review Orders Awaiting Fulfilment with Operations Manager and other inventory related reports
  • Oversee the clearance sales and walk in traffic
  • Coordinate for Return Merchandise Authorization items to be returned
  • Investigating and resolving shipping, logistics, transportation and distribution issues that may impact the on-time and safe delivery of material and/or products to customers and business partners.
  • Tracking shipments, including updating shipment tracking system(s) and maintaining timely data integrity.
  • Coordinate vehicle maintenance for AWW vehicles
  • Contacting customers to confirm product deliver requirements, schedule delivery times and/or provide order status information.
  • Handling all customer concerns in a timely manner and escalating to the supervisor if the issue cannot be rectified.
  • Providing exceptional customer service always, ensuring employees working under your direction do the same.
  • Pull and pick parts for service the following day to improve calls per day efficiently
  • Review and replenish stock parts lists
  • Act as possible in-house service tech for repairs and parts; emergency second or third man potential on large calls
  • Review and sign off on all Field Level Hazard Assessment sheets from Service and Shipping,
  • Ensuring compliance with All Weather’s Health and Safety principles and policies which require warehouse operations to meet legislative, regulatory and industry standards.
  • Ensuring work area is organized, clean, and following policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Planning and organizing warehouse activities to ensure maximum efficiency is achieved.
  • Identifying areas that need improvements and suggest changes to Supervisor.
