Indaver leads the field in sustainable waste management in Europe. We deliver high-quality, cost-effective services in the municipal, industrial and specialist hazardous waste markets. We currently offer Total Waste Management and Waste-to-Energy solutions in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Portugal, the UK and Ireland.
Currently, in Essex, Indaver is constructing the Rivenhall Facility, which will process circa 595,000t of residual waste per annum and produce electricity to power in the region of, 60,000 homes. Indaver is now hiring 65 specialist personnel to maintain and operate this large scale process plant.
The Warehouse Technician will be responsible for the control and daily operation of the Rivenhall facility Warehouse and associated activities, in accordance with the operational requirements of the facility in order to drive compliance and ensure high levels of operational availability. Typical duties comprise of receipt/dispatch of goods, material storage, preservation, SAP material management/stock control, and the provisioning and issue of materials to support the repair, maintenance and certification of the facility and site systems.

Role
- All work is executed in accordance with Indaver’s Safe System of Work and the protection of people, plant and the environment are at the core of every activity
- Ensure that all work activities are executed safely
- Ensure Chemicals/Dangerous goods are stored, preserved and dispensed using best Indaver/Industry practices in compliance with all relevant environmental, legal, license and internal norms; (COSHH)
- Collaborative delivery of Warehouse services within the facility
- Execution of all warehouse activities in accordance with company standards and reporting requirements
- Chemical and Dangerous Goods management in full compliance of License and COSHH requirements
- Ensure all documentation and SAP transactions accurately reflect the daily activities and SAP defined stock levels
- Be aware the impact of the impact that warehouse/supply chain activities impact the operational budget for the facility
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- SVQ with significant experience gained within a warehouse or supply chain environment
- Lower qualifications will be considered when supported by significant directly applicable experience
- Proven warehouse experience within a storage or supply chain environment
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided
- Current mobile plant operating license would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided
- General knowledge of mechanical/electrical components and their storage requirements

Where and when do you work?
On-site position - Rivenhall Integrated Waste Management Facility, Woodhouse Farm, Woodhouse Lane, Kelvedon, Essex. CO5 9DF. Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week - typically 0800 - 1630.
