Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America is seeking an experienced Warehouse Technician to ensure efficient movement of raw material and finished goods on/off truck and around the plant.
The successful candidate will have some experience working in a fast-paced warehouse and understand the importance of a strong work ethic, be able to multi task and work efficiently and accurately.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least two years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to handle weights unassisted up to 23 kilograms.
  • Experience in use of forklift (counter balance), Raymond Reach, pallet lifters, hand trucks and dollies.
  • Fluent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Work in a safe manner and possess basic knowledge in health & safety regulations
  • Good time management skills, punctual and reliable

Receiving/Shipping:

  • Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks.
  • Scan in all incoming distributions and transfers, maintain shipping logs, and file all paperwork.
  • Sort shipments and distribute product accordingly.

Other Inventory Duties:

  • Assist in the preparation for physical inventory counts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive, inspect and verify incoming shipments against invoices, purchase orders and other documents. Record shortages and reject damaged goods. Maintain receiving and inspection records.
  • Coordinate and facilitate all receiving and shipping of finished goods, raw material, and other miscellaneous items.
  • Maintain warehouse area for raw material, finished goods by tracking material movements each day.
  • Ensure assigned work area is kept clean and organized.
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
