Warehouse Technician

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Be able to work well in a team-based, diverse culture.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Must have a stable work history.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be willing and able to work on any shift with overtime as required.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical.
• Must submit to and pass a background check.
• Must be able to successfully pass a basic skills assessment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50LBS
• Willing to work predominantly indoors, including 40-degree cold storage warehouse, and on occasion outdoors in the seasonal ranges of temperature and humidity.
• Fork truck driving experience
• Personal computer skills
• Schedule flexibility, weekends and on call
• Maintain an acceptable attendance record

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Operating and maintaining equipment.
• Experience working with computer systems and product distribution systems.
• Possess a strong technical aptitude, proven leadership, problem solving skills, solid interpersonal skills.
• Team oriented, skill-based work system experience
• Warehouse skills
• Two years+ forklift experience

  Salary : Competitive wage is $18.30 /hour plus .75 flex pay
  Schedule :
  Work a 40 hour per week schedule comprised of 4 days per week. Some days are 8 hour days, some are 12 hour days. Work every other Saturday until 3:30- always off shift on Sunday.

In this role, you will:

• Load, ship, unload and receive finished product and raw ingredients/packing materials.
• Use of a Radio Frequency Terminal (RFT).
• Operation of forklift according to plant safety standards.
• Comple daily forklift inspection sheets & reporting of damage.
• Load/Unload trucks according to standard loading procedures and complete paperwork.
• Inspect pallets in accordance to quality specifications.
• Adhere to the Hold/Release procedures.
• Maintaining appearance of work area, according to GMP standards.
• Be involved in Safety and Quality System ownership and audits.
• Be involved in process improvement and problem solving.
• Participate in basic maintenance activities as required.
• Perform necessary steps to ensure Personnel Safety, Quality and Food Safety.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
