Job Purpose
The Warehouse Technician is actively responsible for the safe and effective receipt, movement, storage and dispatch of all materials and equipment within TFMC Service Bases. Job Description
In the dynamic environment of a workshop, proactive collaboration with colleagues is essential for the successful execution of activities. This includes attending daily meetings, adhering to safety protocols, and utilizing company systems like POS/SAP for daily tasks. The responsibility extends to ensuring the safety and security of materials during receipt, dispatch, and storage, as well as maintaining accurate verification of equipment. A unified team approach within service bases promotes efficiency and a supportive work culture. Additionally, roles may vary from acting as a delivery driver to participating in an on-call rota or overtime rotation to meet operational demands. It’s crucial to safely handle materials using appropriate machinery, verify documentation, update computer systems promptly, and conduct regular stock checks. Lastly, the Warehouse Technician needs to have the flexibility to perform various duties, including driving and processing purchase orders, reflecting the multifaceted nature of workshop operations.
