Looking for a new challenge? Have warehouse experience you’d like to share? Keen to help colleagues develop their skills? Well at Movianto we are seeking a Regional Warehouse Training Specialist. Your regions will be Haydock, N.Ireland, Castleford, Worksop, Airdrie, Knaresborough, Billingham, Newcastle and Normanton.
You’ll be working 37.5hrs a week, Monday to Friday and will be paid upto £30,000 per annum plus car allowance.

TECHNICAL AND BEHAVIORAL SKILLS

  • Achieve and maintain certification and, where applicable, professional membership of required bodies including RTITB, RoSPA, including qualifications in Manual Handling TTT, Fire Safety TTT, MHE Instructor, MHE Assessor, IOSH/NEBOSH, L3 AET or equivalent.
  • Operational competence on VNA, FLT, PPT and pump trucks.
  • Customer/stakeholder focused approach.

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To ensure all new starters into warehouse positions are inducted, upskilled and trained to effectively and safely perform warehouse duties. To ensure compliance is maintained and training can be easily audited, reported and evaluated.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and deliver training on topics including: fire safety, H&S, Manual handling, SOPs/WIs, MHE, soft skills.
  • Deliver classroom training.
  • Attend each site in the region a minimum of once per calendar month.
  • Flex working hours across warehouse shift patterns as required to fulfil business requirements.
  • Schedule and co-ordinate the training required within your designated region, managing your own diary to ensure the needs of the business are met.
  • Create and maintain digital learning content such as e-learning and videos.
  • Maintain digital records of training delivered and completed.
  • Support GM/DCM/DCS with on-site inductions and role specific training.
  • Deliver practical training sessions on MHE operation.
  • Assess employee competence on MHE.
  • On-the-job support and coaching of warehouse employees.
  • Periodic review and update of training materials, ensuring compliance with regulations, policies and best practice.
  • Reporting and management of KPIs.
  • Evaluation of learning and ROI.
  • Conduct TNAs.
  • Create ad hoc training as required.
  • Take responsibility for your own continued development and work with teammates to share knowledge and best practice.
  • Attend team meetings and consult with other regional training specialists to ensure consistency of training across the business.
