JOB SUMMARY:

Working out of our Edmonton, AB Distribution Centre, the Warehouse Worker’s responsibility is to accurately and quickly servicing customers while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards in the industry. The Warehouse worker will operate forklift equipment, pick orders using RF scanning equipment and be prepared to meet any challenge. Provide utmost accuracy while delivering high-quality products to our Customers while adhering to all C-TPAT requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Completion of high school or equivalent work experience in distribution and/or logistics.
  • Possession of a valid counterbalance forklift certification is considered an asset.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience operating various forklift equipment (order picker, reach truck, counterbalance)
  • The successful candidate must complete a background check.
  • Experience with RF technology preferred.
  • Confident working at heights of 40 feet when picking orders.
  • Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and make independent decisions within established guidelines relating to the performance of day-to-day activities
  • Ability to work well as a team and independently at times.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklift effectively and safely; maintain equipment and report malfunctions.
  • Receiving of stock transfers, POs, and RMA.
  • Pick and prepare for shipment customer order(s) as required.
  • Ensure customer orders are picked accurately and in a timely manner using an RF picking procedure.
  • Tape, carton, stretch wrap all orders for shipping, re-package and label cartons with bar codes as required.
  • Load/unload trailers and containers as assigned, receive and put away all incoming goods in the correct bin locations using RF technology, transfer inventory for re-stocking bin location, stock replenishment as needed
  • Perform regular cycle Counts for accurate inventory, assist with inventory preparation and cycle counts.
  • Process courier orders using existing software.
  • Maintain a strict housekeeping standard in accordance with 5S protocols.
  • Report any unsafe work conditions, accidents/injuries and/or near-misses in a timely basis
  • All other duties as assigned.
