Description:

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. As part of our growing furniture manufacturing facility, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing the flow of goods and materials and contributing to the success of the production line. This role involves handling of heavy equipment and operating machinery requiring a good level of physical stamina.

EXPERIENCE

  • A valid Forklift Truck Licence (Reach & Counterbalance) is essential for role
  • Familiarity with materials handling techniques and equipment operation is advantageous.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems is beneficial for tracking inventory and managing stock levels.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required, and operating machinery.
  • Mechanical knowledge is a plus, aiding in basic troubleshooting of equipment when necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle materials with care, ensuring proper loading and unloading of goods.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, to move stock efficiently throughout the facility.
  • Maintain an organised warehouse layout, ensuring all items are stored correctly and easily accessible.
  • Perform picking and packing duties, preparing orders for dispatch with precision.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are accurate and report discrepancies as needed.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all staff members.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Assemble furniture products to the highest quality standards
