Job Summary: As a Warehouse Worker at ALL-GAS in Hartford, CT, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for various tasks related to safely moving heavy compressed gas cylinders, loading and unloading trucks, dry ice manufacturing and shipping, and distributing gas products to our customers and internal teams. The ideal candidate is a motivated and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training can be provided).
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking and inventory management, especially in handling gas cylinders.
  • Physical capability to lift and move heavy gas cylinders as required, following proper safety procedures. (Physical performance evaluation will require lifting/pushing/pulling 100lbs.)
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management.
  • Willingness to always follow gas safety guidelines and company policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming gas shipments and verify their contents against purchase orders or invoices.
  • Safely unload, load, relocate, and properly store gas cylinders in designated warehouse locations.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to gas safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily and weekly productivity targets.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies related to gas cylinder handling.
  • Must pass random drug testing including a negative test for marijuana.
