Description:
Responsibilities:
If you are enthusiastic forward thinking and relish the challenge of playing a vital role in supporting financial and performance monitoring, then why not join our passionate and friendly waste team.
Whilst previous experience in waste management would be beneficial it certainly is not essential as specialist training will be provided, so if you are thinking about a change of career, this could be the role for you.
The role involves the collection and analysis of data to understand tonnage and performance trends, verify tonnages and ensure the correct payment of invoices and receipt of income.
The role includes liaising with internal and external partners to develop strong networks from the outset, ensuring that the data they provide is accurate and on time. You will also be responsible for completing statutory data returns.
We are looking for someone who is able to demonstrate strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and monitor against targets, plus the ability to analyse performance and financial data to support service improvements and efficiencies.
Being a confident user of excel is a must as is the ability to manage conflicting demands to meet deadlines. You will also need the ability to form and continually develop long-term relationships with both internal and external partners.
So, apply today to be part of our dynamic and supportive team team and make a significant impact supporting Bath & North East Somerset Council’s waste management services
