Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor computerized control system (PLC) and related equipment in wastewater treatment (indexing filter, DAF), and report to the Chemical and Water Treatment Engineer.
- Read meters and gauges to ensure that plant equipment is operating nominally.
- Maintain log records and facility records such as flowrate and pH monitoring sheets, and collect waste water samples for characterization and analysis.
- Follow departmental SOPs with respect to all maintenance, housekeeping & operation of wastewater & related equipment.
- Handle chemicals for wastewater treatment including storage, preparation, and dilution, and adjust the dosing amounts to system, as needed.
- Follow company policies and procedures and works safely utilizing all required PPE in good condition.
- Report unsafe acts or conditions to the plant leader.
- Perform security checks in wastewater plant and alert designated personnel on any suspicious activity.
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities.
- Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.
- Compliance with the Company’s Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP.
- Other duties as assigned.
