Are you ready to support a team of talented engineers and shape the future of water infrastructure?
Our dynamic and multidisciplinary Water Engineering team are looking for a Water Civil Design Engineer to work on our joint venture with Caledonia Water Alliance – alongside Morrison Water Services – to deliver Scottish Water’s SR21 Water & Wastewater infrastructure programme.
In this position, you will play a key role in the Improving Urban Waters programme for Scottish Water, as well as delivering flooding and capital maintenance projects through our SR21 wastewater infrastructure framework across Scotland. Projects will include CSO’s, storm storage tanks, rising mains, SUDs, sewer rehab/replacement and pipebridges. This position offers an unparalleled opportunity to be part of a talented, diverse team committed to innovation and efficiency.
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Deliver: Support the Design & Build of water infrastructure, performing specific portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer. Gather and correlate engineering data using established and well-defined procedures. Work on detailed engineering assignments involving calculations and tests.
- Collaborate: Liaise with clients and construction delivery team to work towards providing solutions to challenges that arise during the construction process.
- Quality: Perform work in accordance with agreed budget and schedule with moderate supervision; whilst complying with CWA Quality Assurance procedures.
- Innovate: Propose approaches to solve new problems encountered.
