Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Water Resources Engineer III experienced with Water Resources and/or Geotechnical related projects for an opening in our Sacramento, CA office. In this role you’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of design projects including dams, levees, canals, and floor risk mitigation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in civil engineering
  • EIT and/or California Professional Engineering (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Experience with CADD i.e. Civil 3D and Microstation Open Roads
  • Experience with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HY-8 modeling software preferred
    Additional Information

Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical support to water infrastructure projects including: design, analysis, inspection, construction observation, and regulatory compliance activities
  • Development of plans, specifications, and construction estimates.
  • Collaborate with teams for design and analysis for dams, reservoirs, levees, canals, tunnels, pipelines, flood protection systems, and conveyance facilities.
  • Preparation of technical reports, memos, and engineering design and construction related documents.
