Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level support and advice to the Manager Water Services.
- Lead and maximise the performance of water services operational staff within Narrabri Shire to provide an effective and efficient service to the ratepayer.
- Coordinate all Field Operations Staff to ensure appropriate resources are available to operate water and sewer reticulation infrastructure.
- Ensure quality control of work conducted by the team and external contractors.
- Provide technical and problem-solving support for operators in the Water Services Team.
- Prepare quotes and assessments for water and sewer infrastructure.

About You
The successful candidate for the Water Services Operations Engineer role will be someone who possesses these attributes and is ready to make a significant impact in the field of water services:
- Exceptional time management skills to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain efficient operations.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Computer literacy to utilise our various software and systems
- A degree in Engineering, or a Diploma level qualification with demonstrated experience
- A mindset that welcomes fresh ideas and innovation, contributing to the advancement of water services operations.
