Are you a certified Level III Water Treatment Plant Operator looking to gain experience in a larger plant? We have the perfect opportunity to expand your experience! Your responsibilities include performing daily operational and maintenance duties, equipment repairs, complete facility maintenance, laboratory tests and reporting to meet prescribed standards for the 24 hour operation of the Water Treatment Plant as well as the future Residuals Handling Plant currently under construction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess Grade 12 with advanced Math 30 and Chemistry 30.
• Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Level 3 Alberta Environment Water Treatment Certificate.
• Must hold a valid Standard First Aid Certificate and WHMIS certification.
• Required to obtain an Alberta Level 3 Water Treatment Certification within the time frame outlined below. This may include the completion of an assigned study program set out by management that must be achieved within the defined period set in the offer of employment period.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Equivalent combination of management approved experience will be considered.
• This position has been identified as Safety Sensitive and requires the completion of a satisfactory pre-employment drug screen.
