Description:

MOMAR IS LOOKING FOR A WATER TREATMENT TECHNICIAN!

Reporting to the General Sales Manager, the Water Treatment Technician will be responsible for performing water testing, troubleshooting various feed and control equipment, visiting customer sites, building customer relationships and maintaining paperwork for customer files.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Utilize strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) to prepare reports, documents, and presentations.
  • Work independently, demonstrating self-motivation and the ability to make decisions without constant supervision.
  • Exhibit meticulous organizational skills and a keen attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Prioritize and efficiently manage multiple tasks and responsibilities to meet client needs and deadlines.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, colleagues, and management.
  • Travel to client locations within the designated territory, with 100% travel required.
  • Maintain a clean driving record and operate a company vehicle safely when necessary.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 5 years of industrial HVAC water treatment experience with cooling towers, steam boiler chemical treatment, and/or process water loops.
  • Prior experience as a Service Technician, with multiple assigned accounts to service per week.
  • Experience building customer relationships and maintaining paperwork for customer files.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: ACTIVE

  • Ability to routinely lift and/or move 55 lbs.
  • Ability to move a large amount of weight with the appropriate tools.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle/feel items, reach with hands and arms, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and talk or hear.
  • Ability to perform job tasks in high places (or roof) and sometimes hot and/or cold working conditions.
  • Ability to discern colors as a part of color-based water treatment testing process.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a service vehicle to visit assigned locations within the designated territory.
  • Conduct water testing on assigned systems to ensure water quality meets established standards.
  • Set up and maintain water treatment chemistry to point-of-use locations, ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing excellent service and addressing client inquiries and concerns.
  • Manage multiple client accounts and maintain accurate records of service activities and client communications.
  • Meet with on-site client managers to explain service results, address any issues, and provide recommendations for system improvements.
  • Troubleshoot various feed and control systems to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Complete additional tasks and special projects as assigned by the National Sales Manager.
