Our Global Sustainability Lead, based out of our office in Solna, is looking to train an intern specifically on sustainability reporting methodology in line with the GHG Protocol, and specifically targeting our internal footprint. This training involves innovating reporting methodology, data gathering from WaterAid offices across the world, data analysis and synthesis, and writing sustainability reports.
This is an opportunity to get hands on experience on sustainability reporting, skills that are in high demand, both in Sweden and internationally, and across most sectors of society. With these skills you will be able to work at an NGO, consultancy, company or within the public sector on the development and implementation of sustainability strategies. The Swedish office is also leading our global sustainability work where this internship sits.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- A relevant degree in sustainability, environmental sciences, data management or business administration
- Excellent oral, reading and writing skills in English. Swedish and French are desirable but not necessary.
- A passion for finding innovative solutions to complex problems.
- A passion for sustainability, water, and the environment.
- Excellent research skills.
Good foundation in mathematics and excel
To apply for an internship with WaterAid Sweden, you need to be enrolled in a course that includes an internship/work placement via an education establishment such as a university, college or vocational college, or be entitled to an internship via the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen).
We do not offer any salary or compensation during the internship.
