JOB SUMMARY
We are now hiring a WCM and Quality Engineer to join us in our factory in Hjørring, Denmark!
As our new WCM and Quality engineer, you will be responsible for leading and deploying the best practices in your organization. In this job, you will be responsible for identifying and improving processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste. You will analyse data, work with and lead teams to implement changes. Continuous learning and adaptation are essential in this career path.
This role will be based in Hjørring, Denmark and reports to the WCM & Quality Manager. You will belong to legal entity Tetra Pak Inventing A/S.
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Use Lean, six-sigma and TPM tools to prepare feasibility studies, justify costs, and eliminate waste.
- Improve quality to meet our ISO and Food Safety standards.
- Identify, analyse and determine root cause for system- and process inefficiencies, in order to fix them.
- Develop methods to reduce costs and waste while maintaining quality.
- Lead cross-functional teams and Kaizen events for continuous improvement.
- Be part of our journey to become a World Class Manufacturing site.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and implement new techniques to enhance operating standards.
- Implement new automated test equipment in the QC laboratory.
- Monitor data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions using statistical process control.
- Participate in or lead one for the local WCM pillars
- Prepare reports on malfunctions and corrective actions.
