As a Manager, Deal Desk you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end deal process, ensuring optimized pricing, and supporting the sales team to drive revenue growth. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deal Desk Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen understanding of the SaaS industry, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a high-velocity environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in a deal desk, sales operations, or finance role within a high-velocity SaaS company.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing deal desk teams and processes or related experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in CRM and deal management tools, such as Salesforce, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, financial modeling, and revenue recognition principles.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in deal structuring, pricing, and contract management to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide sales team members toward achieving their goals.
  • Strong customer-centric approach, ensuring that deals are structured to meet customer needs while aligning with company objectives.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop pricing and deal strategies that support long-term company goals

Responsibilities:

  • Deal Structuring and Analysis: Lead complex deal structuring, analysis, and approval, ensuring alignment with company goals and pricing strategies.
  • Pricing Strategy: Create and implement pricing models that support company objectives while staying competitive.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with sales to guide deal structuring, pricing, and contract terms, ensuring profitability and compliance.
  • Contract Management: Oversee contract negotiations and execution, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously improve processes, tools, and systems for better efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Legal, Product, and Sales for smooth deal execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Track and report daily metrics on sales flow, profitability, and customer experience.
  • Managing and Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of deal desk analysts.
