Description:
THE WELL SERVICES TECHNOLOGY CENTER IN BERGEN (BTC) IS LOOKING FOR A TALENTED ENGINEER.
Role is focused towards manufacturing of Archer’s products, but will also be involved in development of Archer’s future technologies.
If you have experience within the disciplines of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and related manufacturing, this may be your opportunity to join a great and growing team.
Key responsibilities
- Assembly and test, Maintenance and repair of downhole and surface equipment
- Establishing and maintenance of related documentation
- Parts sourcing and receive inspection
- Establishing manufacturing and test set-ups
- Participate in new development of Archers future technologies.
- Implement best practices and stay up to date within relevant field
- Participate in knowledge-sharing and skill development activities within the team
Qualifications
- BSc in relevant field is preferred
- Candidates with relevant practical work experience will be considered
Experience
- Experience with manufacturing, maintenance and repair of complex systems, involving mechanics and electronics, preferably for operating in harsh environments
- Knowledge and experience with electronic design, preferably for elevated temperatures
- Some knowledge and experience with SW coding is an advantage.
- Experience with PLM systems and the concept of Change Request / Change Order
- Proven workmanship skills, and a high level of process-, documentation- and quality awareness
