For a client we are looking for a Teamlead with experience in offshore supply chain management ASAP.
Workplace: Ålesund, Molde Onsite. Or travel 3 days a week.
Overall Goal Position:
1. Team lead Project Management Solutions in Ålesund/ Molde.
2. Project Manager for product-related hardware and software projects.
3. Determine project goals and the required resources
4. Carrying out project operational planning and control.
Main task and responsibility

Team Lead Project Management Solutions Ålesund/Molde

• Secure corrects tactic of Project Management.
• Secure Solution goals are met through flawless operations of Project Management.

Preparing projects

• Review accepted customer quotation in collaboration with sales and involved resources
• Review customer hardware and software technical requirements, check the best way of realization (e.g. engineering, manufacturing and economic conditions). Carry out time-/ quality planning according to the agreed customer needs. Coordinate project plans with affected resources.
• Estimate and evaluate risks as well as temporal and economic dimensions and define appropriate mitigating actions. Ensure clarification of patent and licensing requirements. Clarify and define the content of work steps and packages. Prepare descriptions. Estimate project costs and have them calculated in detail. Select possible suppliers, obtain offers and have them checked. Check interfaces. Set up and coordinate schedules. Define milestones and create network plans. Coordinate overall planning and approve project. Take charge of communication within the team.

Controlling projects

• Record the project status (e.g. deliverables and deadlines) and monitor the project progress, if necessary, decide on remedies if there are deviations. Ensure compliance with economic goals and technical specifications. Document interim results and create reports. Control and monitor supplying parties. Clarify bottlenecks as well as hardware and software technical problems and initiate corrective measures taking economic goals/objectives into account.
• Adhere to standards for documentation and maintenance/creation of project-related documents.
• Carrying out product and system acceptance (factory acceptance).
