Description:
As part of the strengthening of its Private Banking business, ING Luxembourg is looking for a Wealth Analysis & Planning Specialist. We wish to strengthen our team in the different markets where we are active: Belgian, French, Luxembourg and international (notably UK, Spain).

Your mission:
As a Wealth Analysis & Planning Specialist, you are responsible for analyzing files and situations from a tax, legal and wealth perspective for an international Private Banking clientele wishing to be able to receive individualized support on these aspects.
In this capacity, you will be responsible for the following missions:
- Provide expert support in legal, tax and wealth matters to Private Banking sales representatives in their sales efforts and, where applicable, during a client meeting in order to properly assess the situation and take into consideration all the elements allowing the client to be adequately supported on these aspects;
- Offer this service in full compliance with the interests of the client and the Bank and the applicable regulations, particularly in terms of risk identification, management and control;
- Follow national and international legal and tax news to ensure this support;
- Attend working groups as an expert, both at the Private Banking and bank levels;
- Participate in specific projects related to the company’s business development;
- Act as an interface with the Bank’s various risk management experts, including and more specifically, Corporate Tax, Legal and Compliance;
- Analyze client files in accordance with the clients’ tax compliance policy. Perform a KYC/KYT/Tax analysis on files presenting a tax risk that are submitted to you by the private banker. At the end of this analysis, issue a written opinion as a tax expert that is an integral part of the analysis of the documentation;
- Write recommendations and guidelines for the sales teams in order to supervise and facilitate their procedures in this area;
- Provide training on the clients’ tax compliance policy to their respective business line in order to increase or keep their knowledge up to date;
- Implement actions and follow the procedures necessary to comply with ING’s tax compliance policy;

Knowledge and experience:
- University degree in law ideally supplemented by a specialization in tax and/or notarial law;
- Minimum experience of 5 to 10 years in a law firm, in a notary’s office or in a similar position within a financial institution.
Skills:
- Good knowledge of Belgian, French, Luxembourg and international taxation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills:
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Good analytical, organizational and synthesis skills
- Languages: oral and written knowledge of French and English. Mastery of any other language will be considered an asset, in particular mastery of Dutch.
