Join the dynamic Professional team at J.P Morgan’s APAC Private Banking business with a focus on China market and deliver exceptional experiences to our clients, Bankers and Investors.

JOB SUMMARY:

As an Investment Professional for China market in J.P Morgan’s APAC Private Banking business, you will be a part of a global wealth management leader that delivers the highest quality advice, service, capabilities, and solutions to Ultra High Net Worth team members and families around the world. You will work closely with our Bankers and Investors to provide support in all facets of daily business routine, maintaining awareness and sensitivity to the confidential nature of Private Banking clients. This role provides an opportunity to develop an in-depth knowledge of all asset classes and products offered by the Private Bank and to deliver exceptional experiences to our clients.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of client service and/or relationship manager support experience in Private Bank, with background in brokerage and/or trading.
  • Fluent written and spoken Business Mandarin is essential to support Chinese speaking clients from China.
  • Strong knowledge of the Private Bank business, well-versed across all asset classes and investment products.
  • Dynamic and independent team player who possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills in delivering exceptional client services, showcasing the ability to proactively engage multiple stakeholders at all levels of seniority to meet strict timelines and operate with strong sense of ownership and urgency.
  • Ability to work under tight market deadlines and accuracy in executing Clients’ directed orders are a must.
  • Absolute discretion when dealing with confidential matters.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills are required alongside effective judgement from risk and escalation perspectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational support to Advisors and wider integrated team, where appropriate
  • Help manage account opening / onboarding process with onboarding officer as subject matter expert for both prospects and existing clients
  • Support Bankers with updating account documentation, authorities & Sig Lists on an adhoc basis and within the role of managing client Periodic Review process
  • Own the full trading life-cycle, from pre-trade checks, trade execution to booking and post-trade checks, including risk disclosures, product marketing obligations and reporting execution details to Clients, with a focus on SEA market.
  • Develop an in deep knowledge of all asset classes and products offered by the Private Bank
  • Act as a primary contact with external clients for day to day account administration, servicing, execution of investment securities and products.
  • Partner with the Client Service team and any other member of the broader team in the daily management of Accounts and Credit facilities, and any other accounts or activities relating to the overall client relationships.
  • Open new accounts as instructed by clients and client advisors, ensuring all necessary documentation is requested, received and approved for operations.
  • Assist advisors in preparation for client meetings, help prepare and provide analysis of investment performance or other client presentations to deliver to clients.
