QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE
- Working toward a University degree in business, finance, computer science, or related discipline
- Minimum of 1-2 prior internship experiences
- Practical course work experience with data analysis tools (examples may include: PowerBI, PowerApps, Alteryx, Python)
- Openness to build and deliver presentations to medium-sized audiences
- Strong verbal a written communication skills
- Able to provide examples of strong judgement and ability to manage ambiguity through rationale decision-making
- Strong interpersonal skills
- The following are considered favourable assets, but not required:
- Extracurricular activities at local post-Secondary institution (e.g. Committees, Volunteer work, stretch projects)

Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITY OF ROLE
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Operational Excellence (OpEx), this role will act as a Lead for the development and implementation of Colleague engagement and experience strategies, build insights reporting for Operations Leaders, manage relationships with various Colleagues in Operations, and contribute to ad-hoc projects as needed. The following accountabilities will be core to this role:
- Develop engagement activities to help push OpEx initiatives forward (e.g. engagement campaigns and contests), and lead these initiatives as ‘the face’ of the initiative
- Build regular communications to support the introduction, awareness, adoption, benefits readout and overall distribution
- Attend consultation meetings and document minutes to share back for reference and actioning
- Maintain project plans and develop progress reporting for leadership teams. Follow-up with stakeholders to provide status updates to leadership, as needed
- Contribute to analytical assignments related to Operations processes, performance, reward and recognition, and other ad-hoc analyses
- Contribute to a collaborative and productive work culture within the Operational Excellence team
