Make a difference in the lives of others with ITility. ITility is seeking a Weapons and Tactics Support Analyst (RQS) to support the United States Air Force in Europe activities at Aviano, Air Force Base, Italy.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct interface/support with Operations, Weapons and Tactics (W&T), Planning and Intelligence Sections in the development of mission requests, tasking, planning, and execution services for home station readiness exercises and inspections, local and major exercises, spin up training, contingency deployments, humanitarian events and all other areas of PR.
  • Maintain crypto requirements for aircraft avionics to include ensuring crypto loading devices are up to date and available for aircrew prior to flight.
  • Handle cryptographic keying materials (KeyMat), load KeyMat for systems components as required, ensure proper codes are available for missions, and assist with control/destruction of outdated materials and security of KeyMat.
  • Perform as the single point of contact in-garrison and deployed to provide system support and training for aircraft capabilities integrated as part of current and future T-1 modifications IAW applicable Air Force regulations, instructions, manuals, technical orders and drawings, and any other official publications which apply to aircraft maintenance, operations, or systems support.
  • Provide technical expertise for existing T-1 modifications and other non-standard systems (e.g. Situational Awareness Data Link (SADL); Intelligence Broadcast Receiver (IBR); Aviation BFT2 (AVN-BFT2) Blue Force Situational Awareness (BFSA); Joint Precision Airdrop System (JPADS), Global Positioning Systems (GPS), and SATCOM radios with Data Transmission Capabilities.
  • Analyze, develop, and recommend solutions to reliability and maintainability problems specific to all non-integrated avionic components and subcomponents of all T-1 modifications for PR aircraft.
  • Maintain equipment to include upgrades, troubleshooting, and repair. Assist aircraft maintenance personnel and units with troubleshooting T1 modified systems.
  • Update existing software and load new versions for all T-1 systems and computers, when not covered by existing SPO contract support.
  • Provide engineering services for upgrades and integration of block cycle updates.
  • Maintain configuration control of equipment by serial number and location.
  • Maintain equipment control logs for all equipment in Squadron Ops Center, Deployed Tactical Operations Center (TOC) and aircraft by serial number and location.
  • Conduct avionics related training for aircrew and aircraft maintenance personnel as required by job description, squadron leadership, or as directed by COR.
  • Perform field level diagnostics and repair components or wiring as necessary.
  • Coordinate with USAF personnel/agencies for repair/replacement of defective GFE.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair/replace Electronically Linked Mission Overlay (ELMO) and SOF Air Mission Suite Enhanced Situational Awareness (SAMS-ESA) computers.
  • Modify, de-modify, transfer equipment between aircraft to meet mission or deployment requirements.
  • Provide support for Electronic Flight Bag program (EFB) to include support to mobile device management requirements.
  • Provide required security for all classified components in government supplied storage areas.
  • Perform preflight operational systems checks; support all launch and recovery operations.
  • Configure system components for AOR operations and interfaces.
  • Provide aircrew, Intel and Operations personnel, training on all phases of non-standard Avionic systems interfaces and develop standard procedure for Squadron Ops Desk configurations of these interfaces.
  • Determine requirements for and prepare all avionic support deployment packages; ensure all equipment is functioning and up to date; reconfigure equipment and maintain currency when at home station; and, conduct Periodic Maintenance Inspections on equipment.
  • Ensure flying aircraft are prepared and all systems operational prior to flight; brief aircrews on status and any shortfalls; and move operational equipment between aircraft (as required) to cover shortfalls.
  • Assist deployed units with execution of immediate solutions for “time critical” information needs in AOR.
  • Assist with ensuring proper Common Operating Picture data feeds are properly functioning and displayed (e.g. FalconView [FVW] and Google Earth Enterprise Client [GE/EC]).
  • Maintain BFSA devices and links to the Intelligence Broadcast System.
  • Establish interface of HPW network to Personnel Recovery Command (PRC) network, and other control entities.
  • Configure gateway interface for Data Link networks. Assist as necessary in establishing connectivity to chat networks. Ensure ATO/ACO/FVW implementation on aircrew (ELMO, SAMS-ESA) laptops.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating monthly FVW data files (ECHUM, DAFIF, etc.).
  • When multiple units are co-located at the same deployed locations or it is feasible to conduct operations using one contractor employee for multiple deployed areas, utilize minimum personnel required, with concurrence of Government.
  • Provide compatibility verification for any EFB and ELMO Flying laptop computer systems. Verify latest approved versions of Microsoft Operating Systems (OS) and transition accordingly. Ensure compatibility of classified systems data with OS.
  • Check compatibility with Portable Flight Planning System (PFPS) classified data sets (e.g. icon, point editor, etc.).
  • Confer with Intel personnel to verify flying computer geo-spatial product libraries are accurate.
  • Prepare equipment for deployment packages; ensure all equipment is functioning and up to date; maintain equipment at deployed location; and, reconfigure equipment upon return.
  • Assist the USAFE units to maintain configuration currency when at home station; work with Intel personnel for correct configurations to properly update threat files, EOB data, MTX configuration, CI information, IBSSO, JICO and OPTASKLINK configurations on aircraft systems; and import data for integration to Link networks for local flying and for contingency operations in various AOR.

Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelors degree or an Associates Degree and four years of specialized experience or a High School diploma and eight years of specialized experience.
