Description:
Bridgecross, LLC is a Minority, Woman-Owned, Service-Disabled Veteran (SDVOSB) small business, providing strategic Information Technology (IT), Healthcare, Administrative, and Management services to the United States Federal, State & Local Governments, Commercial and Nonprofit entities.
We are seeking a skilled Web Application Developer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will:
- Develop new web applications and maintain existing ones
- Create and implement design standards, layouts, and navigation structures
- Design and integrate databases
- Develop new features based on functional requirements
- Produce wireframes and conduct usability testing
- Implement efficient page production methods
- Recommend and document best practices for future development
The role requires expertise in web development, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work within established guidelines. Experience with usability testing and a focus on user experience is essential. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to ensure all deliverables meet project requirements and quality standards.
Additional responsibilities include building and integrating web applications within existing data definition libraries, security infrastructure, navigation structure, database structure, and design methodology. The developer will work within a role-based security framework, emphasizing the protection of personnel records. They will be expected to create navigation maps and action plans, defining elements such as styles, navigation, colors, and consistency. The role involves documenting execution plans for new requirements, submitting prototypes for approval, and participating in weekly meetings during the design and implementation process. Quarterly meetings with the Government program manager are also required. The developer must be able to adhere to timelines, meet project goals, and work effectively within an established framework while maintaining high standards of security and data protection.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science or Information Systems, or five (5) years of programming experience.
- Two (2) years of experience programming in React TypeScript, Ext JS, .NET Framework with C#, Extensible Markup Language, JavaScript Object Notation, Structured Query Language, HyperText Markup Language, and object-oriented design.
- Two (2) years of application experience with security (roles, authentication), user-defined functions, structured reporting, rich and dynamic form generation model-view controller web services and Application Programming Interfaces.
Place of Performance: Fort Detrick Maryland 21702, MD
Work Days: Monday - Friday (40hr a week)
Normal duty hours are 7:30 am to 4:30 pm (excluding Federal Holidays).
