KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 1-3 years, but recent college/university graduates will be considered
• Knowledge of modern HTML5/CSS standards and JavaScript, including concepts, layout, specificity, cross browser compatibility, and accessibility.
• Knowledge of Google Web Tools including Analytics, Search Console, Tag Manager.
• Knowledge of WordPress and leading plugins.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming such as PHP.
• Able to diagnose and solve website issues with WordPress and various site tools including PHPMyAdmin.
• Experience with WooCommerce and/or Shopify for eCommerce websites
• A passion for web and digital technology
• Keen eye for detail, both functional and aesthetic
• Self-motivated and keen to learn
• Happy working independently and/or collaborating in a fast-moving team
• Excellent time management skills

HIGHLY DESIRABLE SKILLS

• Experience with UI/UX wireframe design and prototype creation.
• Experience with Webflow and other similar CMS systems.
• Familiarity with marketing automation systems such as Pardot, Hubspot, Marketo etc.

• Working within our marketing team, you will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of our group websites as well as building/migrating new sites.
• Proactively investigate and resolve technical and operational website issues, through continual testing of accessibility, functionality, user experience, access and loading speeds.
• Implement SEO/SEM strategies and analyze effectiveness using Google and SEM tools.
• Taking a web design brief from initial concept right through to the final deliverable.
• Create marketing and transactional email templates from wireframes and designs.
• Stay current with industry best practices to implement technical optimizations related to site performance, SEO, compliance and UI/UX.
• Liaise and collaborate with the group web development team.
