JOB SUMMARY

The primary responsibilities of the Web Developer include development and design of company wide web applications and web sites along with innovating the company’s web infrastructure. The Developer will work closely with the development, marketing and design team in an effort to write clean, maintainable code and contribute in decision making and project planning.
The ideal candidate must be able to deliver results in a dynamic environment, providing support and services to multiple divisions – each with their own unique culture, values, and maturity. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and positive individual who can build front-end and back-end web applications and web site, while also being able to problem solve in a team-oriented environment. Our successful candidate is able to thrive in an ever-changing environment, builds relationships naturally, adapts quickly, and communicates effectively.

SPECIALIZED SKILLS OR KNOWLEDGE:

• JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS, AngularJS, NodeJS, JQuery Typescript, Expo.
• CSS Frameworks such as Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, SASS.
• Relational or NoSQL Database experience would be an asset.
• Understanding of web hosting, DNS, networking, server and cloud architecture would be an asset.
• Graphic design, art, and creative media experience / skills.
• Previous work with hosting, managing and administrating CMS would be an asset.
• Git version control.
• Experience with no-code builders, Figma and / or Webflow.
• Successful completion of a Criminal Background check is required.

• Develop, design and support innovative Web-based solutions for internal and external clients.
• Collaborate and contribute to web designs with the design team.
• Front end and back-end development work is expected.
• Translate static designs accurately into fully functional websites.
• Develop flexible and responsive designs for modern devices.
• Web master duties such as SEO, analytics, deployment and maintenance.
• Work as an individual contributor and as part of a team.
• Flexible to perform various assigned tasks as requested by management and executives.
