We are looking for a Full Stack Web Developer to work on our properties that include Citytv, FX, OMNI, CityNews, Breakfast Television, CHFI and many radio stations across the country. As a developer on the Rogers Sports & Media team, you will help to drive the future of video and audio entertainment. Working on some of Canada’s most recognized brands, you’ll be exposed to new technology and industry leading experiences. You will be working as part of an Agile cross-functional team consisting of a project manager, product owner, QA team member and other backend and frontend developers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new user-facing features using React.js
  • Work with and develop rich API’s powering our customer facing applications
  • Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
  • Collaborate with internal partners and product owners to discuss their product needs and propose solutions
  • Actively participates in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint demos and retrospectives.
  • Take part in regular peer code reviews with fellow development team members
