Description:
Daily Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor the web development team, aligning their work with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Oversee the design, development, and upkeep of websites, ensuring they’re responsive, user-friendly, and optimized for performance.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership, marketing, and design teams to translate business goals into effective web strategies that drive revenue growth and support profit margins.
- Set coding standards and ensure best practices are followed, maintaining the security, scalability, and reliability of web properties.
- Keep the team up-to-date with the latest web technologies and trends, driving innovation within the department.
- Regularly review website performance, making data-driven decisions to improve user experience, conversion rates, and overall revenue impact.
- Manage the web development budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources, and monitor project costs to support profitability and maintain healthy profit margins.
- Analyze the financial impact of web projects, ensuring that they contribute positively to the company’s revenue and profit goals.
- Adapting to the role as needed.
Requirements
- Experience managing a team.
- An all-star in web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Strong understanding of web standards, SEO principles, and accessibility best practices.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with the following platforms: WordPress, Shopify, WebFlow, and Figma
