Description:
The Chapter Lead in the Web Engineering team is an active leader who guides a team of Front End Software developers while actively contributing to the development of cutting-edge digital solutions. The lead possess a deep understanding of technical principles and best practices in software development, strong communication skills, and the ability to transform business needs into effective technical strategies. He plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality projects that align with departmental goals, combining technical expertise with leadership and project management. Additionally, it has the ability to train and evaluate team deliverables, ensuring continuous development of team members.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong experience in Web software development.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in delivering software projects.
- Expert knowledge of at least one tier 1 programming language (JS, TS, Python, etc.).
- Understanding of web services, REST/SOAP, WebSocket, async/sync communication, cache, and reactive programming.
- Experience with Git/GitLab, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence.
- Deep understanding of backend development best practices and microservice architecture.
- Solid foundation in development processes, best practices, and design patterns.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Front End software developers.
- Actively contribute to the development of cutting-edge digital solutions.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality projects aligned with department goals.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Design and architect digital projects, making informed technology choices.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and guide the team in resolving them.
- Validate project scope, objectives, and technical solutions
