ABOUT US:

Playground is an internationally renowned gaming destination located a short 15-minute drive south of downtown Montreal, within the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake. We are currently expanding, unveiling new gaming floors, a luxurious hotel, and specialized dining options.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Webmaster - UI/UX Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing Playground’s websites, application ensuring their functionality and efficiency. You will ensure the functionality, security, and efficiency of web infrastructure while optimizing loading speeds, fixing issues, and updating website content. You will also be responsible for managing emails, from design creation, to implementation and delivery in Playground’s email newsletter application.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a Webmaster or Web Developer,
• 4+ years of work experience in UI/UX web design,
• Possess an advanced, holistic understanding of web development,
• Knowledge of web analytics and tracking (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager),
• Strong understanding of web standards and best practices, including cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and SEO.
• Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS, and Javascript,
• Experience with version control (Git)
• Experience with sending HTML emails,
• Working knowledge of website management tools,
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities,
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills,
• Ability to generate creative ideas,
• Attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills.

• Design web layouts that provide a seamless user experience across various devices and screen sizes,
• Develop and maintain the company websites, ensuring high performance and responsiveness,
• Update the website content (texts, images…), create new pages, develop new features and review SEO,
• Collaborate with the design team to improve user experience,
• Debug pages and fix broken links or images,
• Implement and maintain security protocols,
• Work on Playground app and websites and conducting the integrations of platforms in HTML/CSS/JS,
• Managing email design and scheduling to players,
• Troubleshoot website issues and implement solutions promptly,
• Monitor and analyze website performance (traffic, conversion),
• Support side projects, such as the design of flyers, promotional content, special projects, and more.
