WHAT DO I NEED TO QUALIFY FOR THIS JOB?

• Degree in journalism, communications, technical writing, or related fields preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience writing and editing in a professional environment, preferably on technological subjects
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills (Native or near-native English* and German)
• Professional fluency in German is a plus
• Background in technology, industrial processes, chemistry, or physics is a plus (but not a necessity—technology enthusiasts with no formal background are welcome)
• Proven ability to write about complex technological subjects in clear, concise, engaging language
• Familiarity with content management systems and, a background in online marketing, advertising, and an understanding of SEO best practices would be a plus
  On a personal level, you convince us with excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work well within a globally distributed team

WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?

The minimum annual gross salary for this position under the collective agreement and assuming that all requirements are met is EUR EUR 50.286,18 (F/00). This could rise considerably, depending on qualifications and experience. We also offer attractive social benefits, such as occupational health, adequate free parking, a canteen, as well as flexible working hours.

The department Sales & Marketing (SM BA MK) is looking for a Website Content Creator (f/m/*) with the following tasks:

• Creating, curating, and editing engaging content - primarily for the corporate website of Primetals Technologies
• Supporting various Business Units to bring their content online
• Focus on digital storytelling and transmitting information clearly and effectively, to maximize customer interest in the company’s solutions and services
• Researching and implementing keywords to deliver search engine optimized (SEO) content to gain maximum exposure
• Other SEO-specific activities like monitoring website traffic, evaluating content performance and implementing strategies and measures to ensure optimal website performance
• Working with the marketing and product technology teams to maintain consistency between marketing campaigns and published online content and technological publications
• Conceptualize and introduce new, modern content formats for our website
• Contribute to other marketing and communications activities, including the company newsletter and invitation letters for webinars
